First, let’s understand what RSS is technically. Internally it consists of three block structures:

  • Metadata – this includes headlines, subheadings, images, descriptions, main text.
  • Hyperlinks to the target resource for the full version of the news.
  • Categories of articles and metadata united by subject publications.

Working principle: as soon as new information appears on the target resource/source, the script creates an RSS file that is read by online or software aggregators and notifies users about changes.
